The thing I like most about art is how it can turn something that's everyday into something exquisitely extraordinary.
I like it even better when that's done with only a minimum amount of effort or resources. It truly shows beauty can be found in the most unusual places, as long as you train your mind to discover it.  

This art-project by Kumi Yamashita for the American Express headquarters in New York I find brilliant, because it shows there can be a whole world of wonders hidden in a crumpled up piece of paper.
